Vintage Pre-loved 14ct Yellow Gold 0.50ct Oval Ruby & Diamond Ring - Size N½

A classic done properly. An oval ruby sits at the centre of this ring, wrapped in a scalloped halo of diamonds that catches the light from every direction. It's the sort of design that's been loved for decades, and once you see one in person, you understand exactly why.

The ruby has real depth of colour, a rich, saturated red that holds its own against the diamond surround rather than getting lost in it. Set in 14ct yellow gold with a simple polished band, the whole thing has a lovely balance — plenty of presence without ever feeling over the top. At 2.64g it wears easily, with enough weight to feel substantial on the hand without being heavy.
