Pre-Loved Vintage 9K Gold Engraved Gate Bangle, Hallmarked Birmingham 1964
A 9ct gold gate bangle, hallmarked Birmingham 1964, so it has just turned sixty and worn it beautifully. It is the kind of bangle that never really goes out of style. Two bands of warm gold along the edges, hand engraved with a pretty leaf and scroll pattern, and the open gate bars running through the middle that give this style its name.
It opens on a hinge with a neat little box clasp, and there is a safety chain too, so it stays exactly where it should on your wrist. At 14.48 grams it has a lovely bit of weight to it without feeling heavy going.
This is the sort of bangle you can wear every single day, on its own or stacked up with a few others, and it only looks better for it. Good vintage gate bangles are getting harder to come by in this kind of condition, so if it catches your eye, do not hang about.
Come and try it on at our Harrogate showroom, or drop us a message and we will answer anything you would like to know.
