An oval ruby sits at the centre, framed by not one but two concentric halos of diamonds, with the shoulders picking up the ruby again in a delicate pavé line down each side of the band. It's the kind of detail that rewards a closer look.

The double halo gives real depth and dimension compared to a single-row surround, catching the light from every angle, while the twisted gold detailing either side of the centre setting adds a lovely finishing touch. At 3.11g in 9ct yellow gold, it wears with a nice weight without feeling heavy on the hand.
