Pre-Loved 18ct Yellow Gold 3.07ct Ruby and Marquise Diamond Ring
A 3.07 carat oval ruby takes centre stage on this 18ct yellow gold ring, glowing a deep raspberry red that lights up from within as it catches the light. It’s held high in four slim claws, so the colour shows from every angle.
On either side, a marquise diamond is set east-west, lying along the band like a leaf. Together they total 0.49 carats and add a crisp, modern sparkle that sets off the warm red of the ruby beautifully.
At 3.89g of 18ct gold, the ring has a lovely solid feel while staying slim and comfortable on the finger. Ruby is July’s birthstone and the traditional gift for a 40th wedding anniversary, so this is a show-stopping alternative engagement ring or a once-in-a-lifetime anniversary gift. Size N½.

FAQ
Is the ruby natural?
Yes, it’s a natural ruby of 3.07 carats.
What is an east-west marquise?
The marquise diamonds lie horizontally along the band rather than pointing towards the ruby, a modern, elegant look.
Why can I see marks inside the ruby?
Natural rubies almost always contain inclusions. They’re part of what makes each stone unique.
Can it be an engagement ring?
Yes. Ruby is one of the hardest gemstones after diamond, so it’s well suited to everyday wear.
Can the ring be resized?
Yes, our workshop can resize it. Book an appointment and we’ll measure you properly.
