Vintage pre-loved 18ct gold Oval sapphire and diamond three stone ring - size R½

Some sapphires are pale, some are inky, and then there are ones like this, a proper deep, saturated blue oval sapphire that holds its colour beautifully even in low light. Set at the centre of an 18ct yellow gold band, flanked by a round brilliant diamond either side, it's a classic three-stone shape done with real quality.

The claw setting lets plenty of light into the sapphire, so it never looks flat or lifeless, and the diamonds add just enough sparkle to frame it without stealing the show. It's the sort of ring that works as easily for everyday wear as it does for something special.

At 2.71g in 18ct gold, it has a lovely, confident weight, substantial without being heavy.
