Fancy Yellow Diamond Three Stone Ring, 3.67ct, Platinum & 18ct Yellow Gold
Pear shaped and unapologetic about it. The centre stone is a 3.02 carat fancy light yellow diamond, IGI certified, cut into that elegant teardrop shape that elongates on the finger and catches light from every angle.
She's flanked by two pear cut white diamonds, GIA certified, totalling 0.66 carat, set in platinum either side of the yellow gold claws holding the centre stone. The white diamonds do exactly what they're there for, they lift the yellow, sharpen it, make it read even warmer by contrast.
Total diamond weight comes in at 3.67 carats, across platinum and 18ct yellow gold. This is a one off piece, no repeats, no reorders. Once she's found her hand, that's it.

What does F.L.YL mean?
It stands for Fancy Light Yellow, one of the official colour grades on the fancy colour diamond scale. Unlike white diamonds, which are graded D to Z with colourless being most valuable, fancy colour diamonds are graded on intensity of colour. Fancy Light sits at the gentler end, giving a soft, warm yellow tone rather than the deep, saturated colour you'd see in a Fancy Vivid or Fancy Intense stone.
Why is the centre stone IGI certified and the side stones GIA?
Each stone is graded by the lab best suited to it at the time of certification. Both IGI and GIA are internationally recognised, trusted laboratories, so you can rely on either grading with full confidence.
Is this diamond natural?
Yes, fully natural. The fancy yellow colour comes from trace nitrogen present during the diamond's formation.
Can I view this ring in person?
Yes, we'd encourage it for a piece at this level. Book a private viewing at our Harrogate showroom, we also welcome clients travelling from Leeds and York.
